Rekha Menon, M.D.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Dr. Rekha Menon has dedicated her life to the art and science of medicine. She began her educational journey at Campion College, affiliated with Cambridge University, before pursuing her medical degree at MS Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, India.
Dr. Menon's diverse medical career took her to India and Malaysia, where she honed her skills before returning to the United States. She completed her family medicine residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York, where she excelled as Chief Resident and House Staff President. Her leadership extended to serving on the Infection Control and Graduate Medical Education Committees, culminating in her delivery of the Valedictorian speech at graduation.
A proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Dr. Menon has been recognized by both the city of Long Branch and the State of New Jersey for her outstanding community service, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the Medical Director of Partnership Health Center Long Branch, Dr. Menon embraces a holistic approach to healthcare, emphasizing the importance of genuine patient-provider relationships. "Working here has revitalized my understanding of medicine-it's about practicing the way it should be, with a focus on quality care for the whole person," she shares.
In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Menon is a passionate advocate for health and wellness. She actively promotes physical and mental well-being through Indian dance, both teaching and performing to inspire others in their wellness journeys.
Further, each year, Dr. Menon organizes food drives for SEWA Diwali and raises funds to support breast cancer patients.
Caryn Aretino, CCMA/Practice Manager
Caryn Aretino serves as the Practice Manager at Partnership Health Center Long Branch, bringing over 20 years of healthcare experience to the role. She began her career as a Nationally Registered EMT (NR-EMT) with MONOC in Monmouth County and later earned her Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification. Caryn gained valuable skills working night shifts in the telemetry unit at Monmouth Medical Center.
Seeking a more consistent schedule, she transitioned to a front desk position at Partnership Health Center, quickly advancing to a clinical role as Dr. Menon's CCMA, where she dedicated four years before becoming practice manager in 2022.
Residing in the community she proudly serves with her husband and two grown children, Caryn is committed to ensuring that both patients and staff feel valued, cared for, and part of the Partnership Health family.
